Tall clothes airers have a very stable base. c.) Winged airer Winged airers hold up to two wash loads. Long garments such as trousers, jackets and towels can be hung on the foldable side wings. Ensure that the clothes airer is not overloaded on one side, then the winged airer is generally tip-proof. The width of these airers when fully extended is a disadvantage. They are difficult to carry through doors and also require a lot of space. For transport within the home, airers with wheels under the feet are advantageous. d.) Bathtub airer Anyone with limited space in their home is well served by a bathtub airer. Its width can be adjusted. On some models, the struts are somewhat softer and can warp. If the bathroom cannot be well ventilated, it is possible for the laundry on a bathtub airer to quickly smell musty. e.) Tower airer This type of clothes airer is built high and is tip-proof; they require very little space in the home. Many models are equipped with wheels. f.) Extendable clothes airer On an extendable clothes airer, you can accommodate up to a maximum of three loads of washed laundry. The width of the clothes airer can be adapted to the amount of laundry. It can be folded together very compactly for space-saving storage. Extendable clothes airers generally have a quite stable base. When buying, make sure that the clothes airer is not made of material that is too thin so that your airer can withstand the weight of the laundry and the legs do not break.
